Americas rise in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries is monumental, but was it by design? One must ask how did this come to be, was it through the downfall of prior world powers in the world wars, sheer luck, or something else? The methodology of understanding this will be conducted by utilizing historical documents, government documents, and writings by former covert operators. If further clarification is needed to back up claims, interviews may be conducted with historians or figures aligned with certain aspects of history.
How did a country that started by overthrowing the British crown and utilize the writings of John Locke, Montesquieu, Aristotle, and Plato change so abruptly, and in turn emulate those that they overthrew? The dissertation will dive deeply into understanding the behind-the-scenes tactics, societal issues, and laws that were created to move the country in a direction profoundly different from what the founders intended. Some profound historical events that changed American history and what led to them are the creation of the federal reserve, use of non-government organizations, implementation of the CIA and its tactics to push narratives in the media and the school system.

For instance, how did the unconstitutional passage of the federal reserve change America by giving the federal government power to manipulate interest rates, print fiat currency, and centralize the banking system? The constitution states in Article 10, section 1, clause 1 of the constitution that only currency that can be used as tender in payment of debts is gold and silver coins and prohibits states from issuing any form of currency other than gold and silver coins [1]. J.P. Morgan understood the fragility of the US banking system and wanted to create a strategic workaround to blend political and private influence. At the 1910 meeting on Jekyll Island, GA a handful of bankers created the hybrid public private system, by giving the appearance of public oversight but has private sector controls [2]. Article 1, section 8 of the constitution gives congress the power of coin money, but the creation of the federal reserve gave away their constitutional power [3].
The research will primarily focus on the late nineteenth century to the mid twentieth centuries but will put into consideration previous historical events that may have factored into aspects of events in the nineteenth or twentieth centuries. Historical events in America have relative associations with England, and the research will utilize English historical aspects corresponding with American historical aspects. This method will provide a further understanding of the background of the buildup to historical events. The correlations are the idea for the federal reserve came from the bank of England; the OSS came from the British intelligence service.
Thomas Jefferson worried about the expanded usage of non-government organizations and that they may jeopardize the regular government [4]. The US government has expanded the use of non-government organizations for the use of plausible deniability by influencing elections but appearing neutral, coordinated disinformation campaigns and censorship [5]. This tactic allows a government to avoid legal or political consequences due to the non-government organization being considered independent but has the financial backing and political pull of a government entity. NGOs in the twentieth century used for these purposes are the Congress for cultural freedom, National student association, and USAID.

Marxist scholars were present in American universities as early as the 1930’s, but post WWII caused an intellectual migration from Europe and many educators came from the Frankfurt School. The Frankfurt School blended Marxist theory, psychoanalysis, and sociology that eventually became Critical theory [6]. This gradually evolved into pushing cultural criticism and exploded after the mid twentieth century. The school system developed in stages from something completely different from what the early white Anglo Saxon protestants visioned.

The researcher will utilize historical events and explain the underlying factors that caused or created the event. Historic significance will allow the less understood side of history to be understood by the public. The researcher is hoping to uncover links between governments, non-government organizations, and secret societies that manufactured the progress within the United States from the late nineteenth century to the mid twentieth century. The perception of society is that acts within the world happen by chance, but the researcher is going to utilize documents, books, and interviews to show the hidden hand behind events.
The researcher has twenty years of experience within the military, working with government organizations in psychological operations and intelligence and has seen and understood how the hidden hand operates. The researcher will utilize their knowledge and experience to uncover aspects of the government and events through diligent study and research to show how the hidden hand operates.
